University Entrance Scholarship
University Entrance Scholarships are granted to students placed within the “Full Scholarship” quota of the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association as stated in the OSYM booklet of Higher Education Programs and Quotas on a non-refundable basis. University Entrance Scholarships only cover the tuition fees with regard to the rate of scholarship. Other expenditures such as accommodation, food, transportation, books etc. are not included in University Entrance Scholarships.
LYS (University Placement Exam) Honor Scholarship
LYS (University Placement Exam) Honor Scholarships are granted to students both in the top 500 rankings and placed into the “Full Scholarship” quota of the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association as stated in the OSYM booklet of Higher Education Programs and Quotas.
LYS Honor scholarships are given as a monthly stipend for duration of 9 months. Each academic year, the amount of LYS Honor Scholarships is determined by the Board of Trustees upon the offer of the University Administrative Committee and announced on the website of the university.
The LYS Honor Scholarship is non-refundable, and it is suspended if students don’t renew their registration or freeze it.
Science Scholarship
Science Scholarships are non-refundable and granted to gold, silver or bronze medal winner students in international science contests determined by TÜBİTAK, who are placed into related non-quota degree programs without examination by OSYM.
Science Scholarships are given as a monthly stipend for duration of 9 months. Each academic year, the amount of LYS Honor Scholarships is determined by the Board of Trustees upon the offer of the University Administrative Committee and announced on the website of the university.
IB Scholarship 
IB Scholarships are non-refundable and granted to students who get a diploma from the International Baccalaureate (International Baccalaureate-IB) program and are placed into undergraduate programs of the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association as stated in the OSYM booklet of Higher Education Program and Quotas by OSYM.
 Each academic year, the number of students, scholarship rates, and the ranges of IB diploma grades for IB Scholarships are determined by the Board of Trustees upon the offer of the University Administrative Committee and announced on the website of the university.
 If a new decision by the Board of Trustees is not made, the number of students receiving scholarships, scholarship rates and the ranges of IB diploma grades for IB Scholarships continue to be implemented as in the previous year.
Scholarship for Children of Martyrs and Veterans
This scholarship is granted to students who are the children of terror martyrs and veterans in  the Turkish Armed Forces and Turkish National Police, and who are placed into non-scholarship quota of  the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association as stated in the OSYM booklet of Higher Education Programs and Quotas.

The number of beneficiaries and amount of scholarships are determined by the Board of Trustees upon the offer of the University Administrative Committee.

Termination of Scholarships
Those who have been granted a University Entrance Scholarship, LYS Honor Scholarship, Science Scholarship, Scholarship for Children of Martyrs and Veterans will lose their scholarships and cannot receive them again under the following circumstances if they;
  • Transfer to a different department in the university (in effect for only the University Entrance Scholarship),
  • Receive disciplinary punishment, with the exception of reprimands and warnings,
  • Fail to complete the English Preparatory School at the end of two academic years,
  • Fail to complete their undergraduate programs at the end of 5 years, or associate degree programs at the end of 3 years.
The University of Turkish Aeronautical Association guarantees that the aforesaid scholarships will not be terminated or affected by GPA or course failures as long as the students meet the attendance requirements of the courses in this period of time.
Academic Achievement Scholarship
Grant of the Scholarship
Academic Achievement Scholarships are granted to students studying in non-scholarship programs at our university, according to their GPA at the end of an academic year, starting from the following year on a non-refundable basis.
The number of beneficiaries, amount of scholarships and GPA ranges that will be rewarded are determined by the Board of Trustees upon the offer of the University Administrative Committee and announced on the website of the university. Unless decided otherwise by the Board of Trustees, the number of beneficiaries, amount of scholarships and rewarded GPA ranges of the previous year will continue to be in effect.
According to the number of students, amount of scholarships and GPA ranges determined by the Board of Trustees, the Student Affairs Office presents a list of eligible students for Academic Achievement Scholarship to the Rectorate at the beginning of each academic year before the registration period. The list of the students is approved by the Rectorate, finalized by the Board of Trustees and announced on the website of the University before registration period begins.
Circumstances in which the scholarships are not granted
Academic Achievement Scholarships are not given to the students;
  • Who are in the English Preparatory School,
  • Who are freshman students at faculties/vocational schools of our university,
  • Who are not registered as full-time students in the faculties/vocational schools of our university in the fall or spring terms,
  • Who have failed or missed courses in their departmental curriculum,
  • Who receive disciplinary punishment with the exception of reprimands and warnings,
  • Who exceed their normal study period.
